The game tells the story of a cowboy named Darius Schneider and his right-hand woman Elise Whitefield in charge of pursuing and taking revenge of a dangerous outlaw named Revenant Joe who is responsible for raising the undeads and destroying Elise's hometown of Rothwell.
In the second game, the first mission is the final stage of this prequel (Castlevania Sotn style), so in this game you must fight through 7 levels to defeat a series of dangerous enemies and find answers about the whereabouts of your nemesis.
The game focuses on action and storytelling between stages and detailed cutscenes.
This game is a love letter and homage to the first monochrome Wonderswan handheld console and his father, Gunpei Yokoi.
This game was inspired by some classic and modern western themed video games like: Sunset Riders, Gun.Smoke, Cowboys of Moo-mesa, Wanted, Outlaws, Wild Gunman and even Red Dead Redemption franchise, Guns´n Spurs and a game for mobile called West Gunfighter.
